Accreditation Language

Michigan State University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and is a member of the National Association of State Universities and Land Grant Colleges, Association of American Universities, International Association of Universities and others.

The degrees awarded at the MSU Dubai campus are issued by the home campus in Michigan and are, therefore, accredited by the same local accrediting bodies.

The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) issues academic licenses to high quality institutions in Free Zones such as MSU. The academic license attests to the fact that the quality of the institution, faculty and teaching in Dubai is equal to the quality of the institution, faculty and teaching at its place of origin, such as Michigan.

During the 2009-2010 academic year, MSU Dubai is seeking licensure through the Commission for Academic Accreditation of the U.A.E. with the goal of full program accreditation prior to the graduation of its first class in 2012.
